"29th Dec 2012" A Day which i will never forget? The Whole day i kept thinking of her...even though when i hardly know her, or when i know it’s going to be of no use coz she is already dead... but it’s so sad & heart breaking that i can't forget it. I’m trying to divert my mind by trying to do all sort of things like making me busy in work or planning for New Year's Party with my friends. But she is not letting me think about anything else. Just the mere thought about her, brings tears in my eyes.
On my way to office & back home, every girl i
saw resembled her. And for the first time i felt a girl's pain of what they go
through every day to survive in this Jungle World. I'm sure many people might
be thinking like me after this incident. A part of your brain might be forcing
you to think about her. May be she is trying to deliver a message to all of us
to WAKE UP & think about Our Nation, Our Society.
Even now, when I’m writing this...there might be so
many women around our country & world who are getting raped, beaten, tortured
& eve teased. Many times it happens in front of us, but we don’t bother
& move on thinking, "Chodd...Khali Fokut Kaiko Lafde Mein
Padneka". Admit this that we Guys never think before staring a girl, or
eve teasing them by calling them Maal, Item etc...But it all starts from there.
We can’t even imagine what she might have gone through. But just see the impact
she created on the whole country. She has awakened us from our sleep. It's
indeed a sad moment of life & it forces us to think why such things have to
happen. After all we all are Humans & at some point of time we do begin to
think about each other. But this fast moving life forces us to think selfishly and
makes us forget things which are important for our society.
Many of us will forget it in a day or two,
convincing ourselves that it was her destiny & what can we do or God will
punish the Rapist or whatever, but none of us will want to step out of our
comfort zone & do something to improve our society. Remember this; she
didn't die of a 'Multi Organ Failure' but by a 'Multi System Failure'. Admit it
we are a failed system. A System which can’t protect her women doesn't have any
future. This incident has proved it that our democracy is also dying of a
Multiple Organ Failure where its heart, soul and brain have stopped
functioning. But it's time to act & not just think. The time has come that
we do something to improve our society, our system. There is no point blaming
the Government or Police Dept. Blame games are played by politicians & we
are not politicians.
Lets join hands in improving our society by first
improving ourselves, by respecting each other & respecting every women, by
trying to raise an awareness if something wrong is happening in front of your
eyes, by doing whatever which will contribute towards making our society a
better place. Let’s make our country a great place, a place where every woman
can live safely & with self confidence. I'm pretty sure INDIA will
rise. God Bless and Stay Protected. #DelhiGangRape #RIPDelhiBraveheart
