LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT

I remember the day i first saw you,

it gave me life, like my first breath.

Those beautiful eyes i saw, were the best of what i could see in life.

Your pretty face with that mesmerizing smile, left no doubt in my mind that it was a love at first sight.

I approached you with a gental smile, to be your friend for this eternal life.

As time passed we became good friends.

We shared the joys & shared the pain,

Of 2 forgotten years have passed & as my heart recalls the joys, my eyes recall the tears.

For although life is never perfect & things were not quite right.

I miss the silence & the peace i felt deep in your eyes.

I try not to think about you, but i know i will miss you.

I will miss your smile,

I will miss your talks,

I will miss the time i was close to you.

& i want you to know that

I will always be here,

whether you need me or not.

Thanks for all the sweet memories.

Will meet you again in sum walk of life...

When wine and candles leave the room like unwelcome after hours guests making room for more mature tastes, full bodied aromatic scent
All pretentious labels removed, cast to the floor as I take a sip dripping from your open lips inhaling heady scent of your bouquet.
Raising my glass, toasting our union by open fire as once again my mouth savours your taste on whetted tongue and wanton lips.
I wish you could melt the summer in me in living daylight.
